New Business Development Executive
Job purpose:
The Role of the New Business Development Executive is to:
Plan and develop new business revenue in line with the company’s growth, profit, and product mix objectives, as agreed from time to time.
Develop and manage such new accounts to minimum levels of performance criteria as agreed from time to time.
Plan and manage the transition of such accounts to others in the commercial department as directed
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Plan, prioritise, and perform personal sales behaviours and activities to identify and aggressively pursue target markets, target clients, and target services mix at a level at least in line with the company’s strategic growth objectives.
2. As a minimum, meet monthly, quarterly, half & full year revenue targets for ‘new win’ business.
3. As a minimum, meet monthly, quarterly, half & full year profit targets for ‘new win’ business
4. As a minimum, meet the required mix of services in each new account.
5. Manage and develop the portfolio of new business accounts in order to achieve minimum ‘Key Performance Indicators’ (KPI’s) as agreed with line manager.
6. Manage the timely hand-over of accounts to others in the Commercial Department, once agreed KPI’s have been meet, and in conjunction with line manager.
7. Complete daily and weekly all relevant sections of the ‘Sales Accountability’ tool provided. Keep line manager appraised on deviations from agreed plans and activity targets, together with plans to correct.
8. Maintain and develop all computerised customer and prospect databases.
9. Respond in a timely and professional manner to all new sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
10. Attend all planned training to develop relevant knowledge and skills. Use all possible endeavours to consistently, competently, and diligently apply such knowledge and skills
11. Take all necessary actions to ensure competent understanding of the required levels of product, market, and competitor knowledge, consistent with achieving 1 – 10 above.

Scale, scope, and territory indicators:
• Core product range of four interlinked, but separate services. See appendix for mix and pricing matrix.
• Target sectors: previously identified target sectors.
• First year personal ’New Business’ revenue Target £0.75m.
• Territory: UK, but with an initial concentration on a territory North of Birmingham

Salary: £25 – 30,000 p.a. basic (depending on demonstrable industry/role experience)

Laboratory Assistant (minimum P401 qualified) to work in our UKAS accredited asbestos testing laboratory in Dunston, Gateshead. Salary negotiable dependent on experience and flexible working hours could be agreed with the right candidate.
Trainee asbestos surveyors technical graduates in building, environmental or similar disciplines who wish to specialise in asbestos surveying and management. Initial training will take place in Newcastle upon Tyne (accommodation will be provided during this period) and will include practical and theory sessions to make you ready to pass the P402 examination in order that you will be able to carry out asbestos surveys. You will then be placed with a lead surveyor for six months until you become proficient in surveying. During this time you will also be given the opportunity to study for further qualifications that will culminate in qualifying you to supervise removal and abatement projects.
