Asbestos Surveys

Lucion provide quality surveys in order to assess for the presence of asbestos and have relevant experience in many property types including government departments, industrial buildings and housing associations. We also offer environmental surveys for problems such as ground contamination and toxic mould.

Asbestos Testing

Lucion environmental provide both asbestos material (bulk) and air testing for asbestos fibres in the air. All our tests can be carried out either at our in-house lab, or by our surveyors out on site, both of which we hold UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service www.ukas.com) accreditation.

Asbestos Management

Lucion Environmental can be with you from the beginning to the end of managing your asbestos related issues. Our Supervisory License also allows Lucion to control the asbestos removal contractor to ensure absolute results for you.

Asbestos Awareness Training

Lucion have a purpose built facility on Tyneside which has the all the latest technology and teaching aids. Courses are run for up to 16 delegates. Courses cover a range of specific topics and can be arranged to cover topics most relevant to you. As we’re at the sharp end of the business we have to know about the newest developments and the latest legislation.

Asbestos in Soil

At present there are over 66,000 hectares of brownfield sites in England, but building work cannot be carried out until the land has been surveyed by professional asbestos surveyors. Asbestos contaminated soil must be treated extremely seriously as exposure to asbestos fibres can lead to fatal diseases such as lung cancer and mesothelioma.
