Lucion provide asbestos surveys, management and removal for Government Departments.
At Lucion we have wide experience in handling asbestos surveys and management for various government departments including the Department for Education & Skills and the Institute of Animal Health.
As many Government departments are busy by day, we are available to work at night. As part of our customer-focused approach we believe it is important to work around the client’s needs and working patterns.
Our work in alliance with the government also extends to MOD shipping. Our south London branch was called in to survey the Portsmouth Naval Dockyard; a vast complex containing over 700 properties dating from the 18th Century to the present day. Such was the success of the operation that we have also handled the decontamination of the HMS Caroline which is one of the last surviving ships to have fought in the famous Battle of Jutland in 1916.

Lucion Marine is our sister branch that handles the decontamination and asbestos surveying on board shipping vessels. Lucion Marine also supplies Inventories of Hazardous Materials, (also known as Green Passports) to ship owners, ahead of up coming legislation on from the International Maritime Organisation.
To complement our own work we also run courses in asbestos awareness training for anyone in a Government department who feels their sector may need to know more about safe asbestos management.
